We have two resident horses, 2 chickens and families of wallabies who check in to say hi from afar most mornings and evenings! I am an artist and find myself songwriting and painting artwork when we stay here. Note guests must bring ther own acrylic paints. No oil painting permitted (very bad for the septic system!). Must be organised with minimum 1 week's notice. We love horse riding at Centennial Stables just half an hour away in Blackheath and grabbing a good coffee from Anonymous Cafe on the corner there. Our lovely neighbours across the road also conduct horse riding lessons and can hire out their ponies and carriages to conduct children's parties directly on our property! And if you love to know a bit of history, the mountain we are on is a heritage listed historic location where there were convict barracks built in the 1800s. Apparently there are ruins of the chimneys and foundations somewhere in the paddocks but we haven't found them yet! Perhaps you might! Send us a picture if you do! If anyone in your group needs transport, we are just 17 minutes drive from Mount Victoria Station and 10 minutes from Lithgow Station the other direction. Once on the property there are paddocks to explore, 7 dams throughout the property and kayaking for children on one of them!
