The Salt House- FREE Night*

we love this because.. as soon as you walk through the door you feel your shoulders drop and it instantly invites you to relax. With tall ceilings its so spacious and perfectly designed with enormous entertaining space connected to an undercover deck and sparkling pool surrounded by native bush and trees. Our small kids are entertained with a a hidden cubby complete with verandah and table and chairs for them to play "house" and the larger kids can watch TV in a seperate lounge or play a tournament of "pacman". It's just the perfect spot for the whole family with spaces to work and shady spots on open decks and verandahs to read or chat. We also love the fact that the National Park is only metres away so a healthy walk along the tracks to Sixteenth Beach and beyond is perfect. Our favourite spot for coffee and lunch either Sixteenth Beach General Store or Peninsula Pantry, only a 15 or so minute walk away. For dinner, we take a short drive to Rye and choose Del Posto. Please note: There is a ring security camera at the front door. The ring system will only activate once someone is at the door and not a continuous recording. PAWfect Ooh, ooh! so excited that I can stay in such a beautiful property but I can't walk in the National Park so my hoomans take me to the local dog friendly leash free beach in Blairgowrie. The garden has high fences in most areas (one little spot with a chicken wire fence) and a secure gate so I feel really safe.

Bass Vista - FREE Night*

we love this because... Bass Vista allows us to escape from the world! We LOVE the location for its quiet solitude and our most favourite thing to do is to sit on the balcony and take in the most magnificent 180 degree views of the waters of Bass Strait and Gunnamatta Beach while sipping on a cocktail. Our children love the garden and its huge trampoline where they can play in the secure fenced garden. They flit in and out of their own lounge downstairs and watch some TV when they want to mix things up. There are so many places to walk and wonder at the native flora and fauna (walk the Bushrangers Bay track in the late afternoon for an encounter with a Kangaroo as they leap from the lower ground to the upper right across your path). From the Cape Schanck lighthouse car park, there is a network of scenic walks and 200 metres east of Cape Schanck is the lookout where Bushrangers Bay Walk commences along the cliff tops of this untouched coastline. Along Main Creek is the Two Bay Walking Track stretching 26km through the countryside of the Mornington Peninsula. For all things food, we head to the village of FLINDERS a short drive away and especially Pier Provedore. Here we grab coffee and provisions for dinner at home. For a special evening, we head to the RACV Cape Schanck Resort where we grab a cocktail in the bar lounge and then eat at either Cape Restaurant or Samphire to complete our luxury escape. PAWfect What fun! a new house to visit that lets four-legged friends like me sleep inside. Yay! a garden with tall fences to keep me safe. Love the trees and bushes, there are lots of interesting smells. Are those possums in the trees? And there's a special basket just for me. No way! What's in there? Ooh, ooh! a treat from PAWDINKUM. I LOVE THIS PLACE.

Joie De Vivre - FREE Night*

we love this because.. It's our dream to escape to the country. Even if it is only for a weekend! JOIE DE VIVRE is our dream escape to your own little piece of paradise with picturesque 10-acre views in Red Hill, in the heart of the peninsula's wine region. When we drive down the quiet country lane with the tree-lined driveway we know we have the most relaxing weekend waiting for us. As interiors addicts, we feel like we have walked into a magazine cover. What to look at first? The marvellous french inspired cast iron fireplace or the facing chesterfield sofas or the view in the background. We really never want to leave, we walk the dog in the grounds and sit on the jetty in the dam and ponder the meaning of life while watching the fishes swim by. The kids are completely engrossed in the playground, tennis court or basketball...so many things to do. The property is located right next door to Main Ridge Estate and across from Red Hill Cheese, two wonderful gourmet destinations that we don't even need to get in the car and drive to. The vines for Main Ridge Estate are in fact at the back door of this property. Please note that there is a security camera located on the roof of the pump shed by the water tanks. The camera is pointed towards the equipment shed and has no view of the main house, playground or dam. This camera is not active during your stay. IMPORTANT TO NOTE - Property is suitable for maximum of 8 adults plus additional children. PAWfect What fun! a new house to visit that lets four-legged friends like me sleep inside. Yay! a huge garden...but no fences. I will have to be on my best behaviour and not wander off. Love the trees and bushes, there are lots of interesting smells. Are those possums in the trees? And there's a special basket just for me. No way! What's in there? Ooh, ooh! a treat from PAWDINKUM. I LOVE THIS PLACE.

Portsea Hideaway- FREE Night*

we love this because... This beach house is so unassuming from the outside, with its impressive front door being the only hint at a house from the road. But it is so close to everything you need for a beach holiday. The pounding ocean beaches are within walking distance but take care to swim between the flags at all times. We love being in the house as it wraps around a central courtyard, and the focus is a heated in-ground pool where we can't get the kids to leave no matter what we offer. We cook up a BBQ and laze in the outdoor lounge, creating our very own poolside piazza. It's so cool in summer and cosy warm in winter. We hardly use our car, we walk the short distance to the newly renovated Portsea Hotel for stunning food and great views and a perfect holiday vibe. We grab our coffee from Le Capucin and stroll across the lawn to take in the views of the bay. For the adventurous among us, we always book a dolphin swim, kayak or snorkelling session with BayPlay because you just can't beat being on the water (at any time of year). On warm winter days, we choose between the Farnsworth Track, Point Nepean or the Millionaires walk(where we get a sneak peek into how the rich and famous live by walking through their front gardens...for real, absolutely allowed). IMPORTANT TO NOTE - Property is suitable for maximum of 8 adults plus additional children. *Please note the swimming pool is heated between November and April only. PAWfect What fun! a new house to visit that lets four-legged friends like me sleep inside. The courtyard garden doesn't have any grass so I always get a walk to tire me out. But there is a shady area at the side of the house that my 'hoomans' leave me when they go out, so I don't get too hot and I can feel safe. And there's a special basket just for me. No way! What's in there? Ooh, ooh! a treat from PAWDINKUM. I LOVE THIS PLACE.

we love this because... Baja is our ideal holiday home nestled in the lovely village of Blairgowrie. This charming summer house offers a light and bright feeling, creating a cheerful and happy atmosphere from the moment you step inside. We love its secluded location, as it provides the perfect escape for those seeking tranquility and privacy. As you enter the property, you'll be greeted by a blissful backyard that beckons you to unwind and relax. The beautifully landscaped garden is a haven of serenity, boasting coastal plants and hedging to keep things private. At the heart of the backyard, our favourite spot is the refreshing pool that glistens in the sunshine. Dive in and immerse yourself in its crystal-clear waters, or lounge on the comfortable poolside sofa, basking in the warmth and joy of summer. The interior is thoughtfully designed to maximize natural light, creating airy and inviting rooms. Large windows allow the sunshine to flood in, illuminating the space and bringing a sense of positivity and happiness. The decor is has a nod to Palm Springs in its art and textures, with a harmonious blend of coastal and contemporary elements that perfectly complement the beachside location. PAWfect What fun! a new house to visit that lets four-legged friends like me sleep inside but smaller dogs are best. Yay! the outdoors is fenced when the front gate is closed and I can't get out but there is no grass for me unless my hoomans take me for a walk beyond the gate. and there is the best dog beach at Camerons Bight where I can run free in the shallow water. And there’s a special basket just for me. No way! What’s in there? Ooh, ooh! a treat from PAWDINKUM. I LOVE THIS PLACE.

we love this because... When we plan a weekend away with friends, space, where we all come together, is on the top of our list. CAPRI HOUSE has the ultimate kitchen entertaining space to hang out in. Opening the large glass doors we bring the outside in and spend all our time relaxing with a glass of bubbly in hand lounging in the sunshine. We cook up a storm in the super glamorous kitchen while we wish it was in our own house so we could be the envy of our friends. In winter we snuggle up in the leather lounge in front of the roaring fire, watching movies or chatting about life. We walk across the road to a track through the sand dunes that take us to Rye Ocean Beach and we watch the surfers mastering the waves. Walking the length of the beach we watch the waves crash against the shore and experience the reinvigorating power of the sea air, a relaxing and a reconnecting with nature. For dinner or lunch, we head to St Andrew's Beach Brewery and its busy vibe. Book one of the old horse stables for your group and try a paddle of beer. For coffee we head to Hunter Cafe and Store in the small set of shops at Dundas Street a 15-minute walk away. PAWfect What fun! a new house to visit that lets four-legged friends like me sleep inside. Yay! a garden with tall fences to keep me safe.
