we love this because.. It's truly everything we want in a beach house. It is our go-to for a holiday with friends or our family of teenage children and dog in tow. The dog loves the winding path around the tennis court set on an acre of native gardens but he barks and runs around the tennis court when we play wanting to be involved. The rear garden is where we relax in the 10 people swim spa, always with a glass of wine in hand listening to the rustle of the trees and the possums overhead or just looking up to the night sky. So peaceful, so relaxing. And it's perfect inside too, with four good sized bedrooms set up in two wings, everyone comes together in the central living and dining space to watch movies or relax in front of the huge fire in winter. As it's so close to the Point Nepean National Park it only takes us 12 minutes to Monforts Beach or Spray Point. When we are feeling energetic we head to the Blairgowrie Cafe only a 20-minute walk or we settle ourselves on the beach and swim in the shallow waters watching the yachts bob up and down. At night we either head into Sorrento for a choice of restaurants or keep it local in Blairgowrie at the wonderful Panda for dinner and drinks. The Wandi pub is 6km up the road along some lovely and smooth bike paths, the Harrietville Snowline hotel is 25k along freshly paved bike paths, and all of the restaurants and venues in Bright are a 5-10 minute ride in to town. Having your own car is recommended to get around. It is approximately 3.5 hour drive from Melbourne. we love this because... As a family when we think if a beach holiday house we hope for white weatherboards, porthole style windows and timber boardwalks so when we arrived at NELSON BY THE SEA before we even entered we knew we had found the perfect escape. Tucked away in a quiet pocket close to Sorrento and the beach it was an easy 15-minute walk to the Sorrento Sailing Club and a little longer to walk into Sorento townships itself. We stayed with extended family and teenage kids and there was space for everyone inside this contemporary house with its high cathedral ceilings, wooden floorboards and contrasting beams. The grandparents sat and read outside, the kids played billiards downstairs and watched movies but everyone came together on the huge deck with hydrotherapy spa. There is a beautiful Peppercorn Tree in the garden and the grassed lawn was perfect for a bit of backyard cricket and safe for our pooch. IMPORTANT TO NOTE - Property is suitable for maximum of 6 adults plus additional children. PAWfect What fun! a new house to visit that lets four-legged friends like me sleep inside. Located on a large 700m2 block. We have put in a lot of thought to provide our guest with nothing less then what we would expect when on holidays. The home was built in 2021 and has been well looked after. It’s modern, bright, warm and cosy. Luxury in the Sunshine Coasts historic suburb of Landsborough with a small town country feel. Surrounded by nature, the home is located along the Pine Forest. The home is professionally cleaned and sanitised prior to every check in along with a physical inspection by myself to ensure that you enjoy your stay in a fresh clean home. We have also provided multiple extras to keep our guest happy whilst staying in the home. If there are any special requests or requirements needs prior or during your stay your more then welcome to message me and we will do our best to make it happen. We have a Porta Cot available, if it’s required please let me know as we don’t leave it on the premises for hygiene reasons to ensure your baby or young child is sleeping in a hygienic bed. As a father of 2 primary school students we are very familiar with the importance of keeping our babies safe.
