The property's proximity to Yorkshire's four main towns Malton, Whitby, Helmsley and Scarborough mean that despite the rural surroundings there are lots of amenities nearby. The property has a quirky layout with all three bedrooms located on the ground floor and the main living area and terrace on the second storey offering great views across the countryside. All the bedrooms are en-suite and have direct access to the garden. The living area is furnished with solid oak furniture with beams to match. Be aware that this beach is better suited to fishing and boating rather than sunbathing! Go Ape Adventure Course The 'Go Ape' adventure course situated in Dalby Forest will certainly liven up your holiday. For those bringing a furry friend, the utility also has a stock of dog poop bags and treats. Moving up the stairs to the first floor you will find the bedrooms. Both rooms have been stylishly staged and contain double beds. Linen and towels are supplied for all guests. Also on this floor, is the main bathroom, containing a toilet, basin and bath with an overhead shower fitting. Welcome to Duck Hill Cottage, a 3 bedroom property in the heart of Ripon with allocated parking, fast WIFI and Netflix. Perfect for those either visiting the area for work or to experience all of the delights Ripon has to offer or even those venturing out to the Yorkshire Dales. Duck Hill Cottage is a large semi-detached property in Ripon city centre. Not many other properties in the area are able to accommodate 6 people and can boast as having allocated parking. You enter the cottage from the rear (next to the single allocated parking space). The entrance leads into the Utility Room which houses the washing machine. This room also doubles up as a boot room, ideal for those visiting on hiking holidays. Heading straight through the Utility Room, you will find a small bedroom on the right with a single bed and next to that is a larger double bedroom. Turning immediately left from the Utility Room, you enter the Kitchen / Dining area which has a large country dining table with seating for 6. There is a newly installed kitchen with an integrated dishwasher and cooker. in addition, there is a fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine and all of the cutlery, crockery and utensils you will need for your stay. There is also an additional seating area in the corner of the Dining Room. Heading through the Dining Room, there is a small toilet to your left and a Sitting Room comprising of two large sofas and a large, wall mounted Smart TV with Netflix pre-loaded. Next to the Sitting Room you will find the stairs leading up to the first floor which houses the main bathroom. The bathroom has recently been renovated and contains a large shower, bath, toilet and basin. Next to the bathroom is the main bedroom which has a king size bed as well as a single day bed. There is a key box at the property and access codes will be sent on the morning of check in.
