Welcome to Morgans Retreat, a stunning contemporary and spacious two double bedroom town house on the edge of Harrogate just a couple of minutes walk to Starbeck Train Station, which provides access to Harrogate, York and Leeds. No matter your reason for visiting the area, whether for business or pleasure, this beautiful holiday home has everything you will need. Guests have exclusive access to the whole property with a fully equipped kitchen including Tassimo Coffee machine and integrated fridge, freezer and dishwasher. A boutique style dining table with four chairs and doors that separate the kitchen from the living space. The Living Area boasts two luxurious sofas and a 42 inch Smart Tv with Netflix, games console and super fast WIFI. There is a downstairs WC for convenience and washing machine for those staying for longer periods. On the first floor there are two double bedrooms, one with a king size bed with fitted furniture. The second bedroom has twin beds, fitted bedroom furniture and an en-suite shower room and toilet. There is also a family bathroom with a large P-shaped bath and shower to relax in after a long day of exploring. There is also CCTV to the front of the property giving corporate guests and contractors peace of mind. Expect a 5 star hotel from home experience when booking this apartment. The space includes 1 double bedroom on the second floor with plenty of day light, wardrobe space and a floor to ceiling opening door leading out to the front of the house. The single room also includes wardrobe space. Both beds come dressed with Egyptian cotton linen + towels. The bathroom consists of a walk in shower, sink, toilet, heated towel rail and several windows. Our in house cleaners are vigorously trained to meet covid-19 safety guidelines. The living space itself boats an iconic feature wall accompanied with a complimentary bottle of Prosecco for your immediate enjoyment. Enjoy a lazy Sunday watching Netflix on our 50" smart TV or connect your phone to the bluetooth sound bar whilst eating dinner at the table. We're also able to accommodate 2 extra guests by turning the sofa into a sofa bed. The kitchen has undergone a full refurbishment, which includes underfloor heating underneath beautiful marble tiles. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, a coffee machine and everything you could possibly need to stay with us for a couple of nights or a couple of months. We've got it covered! We allow guests to self check in using a lockbox which is located right next to the front door. Access codes are provided on the morning of your booking along with all the other check in information you will require plus emergency contact details. A lockbox is provided for guests to enable ultra flexible and safe check in protocols. We are literally a phone call away and based in Harrogate, meaning we are always available to attend in the unlikely event of an emergency. Surrounding streets are family orientated households. The area is quiet, away from main road traffic. The house itself is detached meaning no imposing noisy neighbours! Harrogate town centre is approximately 8-10 minutes walking distance. A taxi would get you there in 3-5 minutes. Bus stops are located on Chatsworth place or Kings Road Hand sanitiser and masks are provided to assist you with being safe and cautious during the current climate.

From the master bedroom on the top floor with its queen-size wrought iron bed with pillow top mattress, bedside lamps incorporating wireless chargers and en suite shower room, your restful nights sleep is assured. Two further beautiful bedrooms on the first floor (one very large bedroom with a king bed and one with a double bed), coupled with a luxurious family bathroom, ensure everyone is thought of. On the ground floor you have a stylish and spacious lounge complimented by the most elegant and extravagant of dining rooms. Even though the house is perfectly positioned for the centre of York, the Racecourse or the beautiful Yorkshire Countryside you probably won't want to leave! Upon booking you will receive our No.42 guest manual which among other things provides some great recommendations of things to do and see in York as well as places to eat and drink. The front door encorporates a digital lock for keyless access. Parking for 1 or 2 cars on the drive (2 can be cosy depending on size of cars) Parking is notoriously in short supply and expensive in York. Unless travelling outside the City I suggest leaving your car(s) parked at no.42 and strolling into the City. There are many places to stop en route. If very weary after a day's sightseeing/shopping an Uber is never far away. There are 3 double beds (1 king, 1 queen, 1 double. (For 7 guests or if sharing is not possible there is a single bed located under the king which can be made up on request in the very large 1st floor bedroom.

Welcome to Duck Hill Cottage, a 3 bedroom property in the heart of Ripon with allocated parking, fast WIFI and Netflix. Perfect for those either visiting the area for work or to experience all of the delights Ripon has to offer or even those venturing out to the Yorkshire Dales. Duck Hill Cottage is a large semi-detached property in Ripon city centre. Not many other properties in the area are able to accommodate 6 people and can boast as having allocated parking. You enter the cottage from the rear (next to the single allocated parking space). The entrance leads into the Utility Room which houses the washing machine. This room also doubles up as a boot room, ideal for those visiting on hiking holidays. Heading straight through the Utility Room, you will find a small bedroom on the right with a single bed and next to that is a larger double bedroom. Turning immediately left from the Utility Room, you enter the Kitchen / Dining area which has a large country dining table with seating for 6. There is a newly installed kitchen with an integrated dishwasher and cooker. in addition, there is a fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine and all of the cutlery, crockery and utensils you will need for your stay. There is also an additional seating area in the corner of the Dining Room. Heading through the Dining Room, there is a small toilet to your left and a Sitting Room comprising of two large sofas and a large, wall mounted Smart TV with Netflix pre-loaded. Next to the Sitting Room you will find the stairs leading up to the first floor which houses the main bathroom. The bathroom has recently been renovated and contains a large shower, bath, toilet and basin. Next to the bathroom is the main bedroom which has a king size bed as well as a single day bed. There is a key box at the property and access codes will be sent on the morning of check in.

This property is fully equipped with everything you need for a short break away, from super fast free WIFI for keeping in touch with family back home to pre-loaded Netflix to help relax after a long day of exploring. As you walk through the front door, you are first met with the cosy living area, complete with stylish sofas and a smart tv, pre-loaded with Netflix as we understand how frustrating it is trying to remember your own log in details. Further down the corridor you will see the spacious dining area with seating for 4, which leads in to the Kitchen. The Kitchen has fully integrated appliances, including a fridge freezer, dishwasher, oven and hob. There is also a washing machine and dryer in the utility room at the end of the Kitchen. For those bringing a furry friend, the utility also has a stock of dog poop bags and treats. Moving up the stairs to the first floor you will find the bedrooms. Both rooms have been stylishly staged and contain double beds. Linen and towels are supplied for all guests. Also on this floor, is the main bathroom, containing a toilet, basin and bath with an overhead shower fitting. The exterior of the property boasts a stylishly paved court yard with patio furniture to seat 4. Flax Mill Cottage started life as part of a charming 19th century mill in the heart of Nidderdale. Just a short drive from Pateley Bridge and Harrogate, Flax Mill Cottage is located in a beautiful countryside village, surrounded by picturesque woodland walks, waterscapes and breath-taking views of The Yorkshire Dales. On the ground floor, there is a well-equipped open plan living, dining and kitchen area with integrated appliances including a fridge freezer, oven and dishwasher. The small utility room off the kitchen houses a washing / drying machine for the convenience of our guests. The cozy living area contains a small fire and smart TV to allow guests to catch up on their favourite box-set after a day exploring the area. A wicker basket by the fire contains local reference books and novels for those who wish to read. The dining area includes a traditional style table with seating for four. Moving up the stairs to the first floor, you are greeted with a contemporary bathroom containing a luxurious rainfall shower, toilet and basin. Next to the main bathroom is a twin bedroom with two comfy single beds and adequate storage for the duration of your stay. For our younger guests there are children’s games stored by the window. The hallway leads to another set of stairs which takes you to the second-floor where you will find the master bedroom which is the showcase of this beautiful property. The master bedroom is equipped with a king size bed and spacious en suite bathroom. The en suite contains a rainfall shower, toilet and basin. The main features of this stunning space are the low-level windows and exposed wooden beams highlighting the character of this unique building. The exterior of the property boasts a stylishly paved court yard with bench seating, allowing you to look up to the stars with wine in hand and reflect on the amazing memories you have creating during your time at Flax Mill Cottage. We allow one small / medium dog at the property for an additional charge. The History of Glasshouses Mill In the early 19th century, the Nidd Valley was discovered to be the ideal location for cotton and flax mills. Glasshouses Mill was built around 1812, first for producing cotton, and later flax. The mill was run by the Metcalfe family from 1828 onwards, and was a prosperous business that employed around 250 people. The Metcalfes were said to be model employers and benefactors, and ran Glasshouses Mill until the end of the 19th century. Around this time, production switched to hemp spinning and rope making. It is said that the mill supplied rope used on the ill-fated Titanic. Over the years, many additions were made to Glasshouses Mill, but its central range, with the iconic clock tower, is one of the oldest surviving parts. Today, the mill is a Grade II listed building and remains a magnificent structure. Glasshouses is part of the Yorkshire Dales, a region of majestic, sweeping moorland and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village has its own beautiful features, such as Glasshouses Dam, which was created along the River Nidd to supply water for the mill and is a tranquil habitat for an abundance of natural wildlife such as birds and otters. A footpath runs alongside the dam and much of the river bank, ideal for leisurely walks. Glasshouses is also very close to the Nidderdale Way, centred on the neighbouring town of Pateley Bridge and offering keen walkers and cyclists 53 miles of natural beauty to admire.
