Outdoor bale/gazebo available for massage, yoga, reading or sleeping. Nestled on a small hill in a tiny sitio, or hamlet, called Panitan, the villa is two storey, with a master suite upstairs and a queen-sized smaller room downstairs, ideal for kids. Both rooms have full aircon. and hot showers. The master suite has a large bathroom, including an outside rain shower. There is a restaurant on site for meals at all times. The villa's balcony has a hammock. There is a small patio behind the villa with ocean views and ideal for sunbathing or taking breakfast (provided). We have a small infinity pool with full sun deck and loungers available, with spectacular ocean views. Great for sunbathing or a sunset cocktail. There is also a small gazebo in the garden suitable for a massage (available on request) a quiet read or just a nap. Guests will have access to the villa, pool area and extensive gardens. We have a full time caretaker and housekeeper who stay in separate accommodation on the property and will be available to assist you at any time. They both speak good English and are able to make fresh coffee and tea on demand as well as make beds, clean the house and do your laundry. They are also available to run errands for you (purchase necessities, run you into town to catch the ferry to Boracay etc.) We levy a small fee for laundry services. Note that the property houses Palay Kitchen Lounge, a laid back, all-day dining venue with a full menu of local and international dishes as well as a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. There is a security guard on site 24/7 We are situated in a small village on the main island of Panay, near the town of Malay. The villa is only 45 minutes door-to-door to the very heart of Boracay. We have a Boracay "cheat sheet" available with all our "do's and don'ts" and recommended restaurants, bars etc. It's an insider's guide to the island from people from the island. Just ask and we can mail it to you ahead of your stay. The nearest beach is Balusbos, about 10 minutes walk from the villa. Sandy, safe and very swimmable. We are a short drive from lots of other attractions on the mainland, including Nabaoy River, Agnaga Falls and Hinugtan and Bel-is beaches near Buruanga (see photos), all areas of outstanding natural beauty. The hiking in the mountains of Panay is essentially limitless. The diving around Buruagna, Black Rock and Naasog Point is spectacular. Kiting and windsurfing on Union Beach is 15 minutes' drive away, three times the length of Bolabog Beach on Boarcay with none of the beginner kiters and tourists and none of the water quality issues. Panay is a mountain biker's dream with literally thousands of off road trails and challenging routes. Ditto for trial motorbikes. We can also organize a paraw (a traditional Filipino sail boat) to pick you up at the local beach in Motag and take you direct to White Beach Boracay (and back if you like!) Beats the scheduled ferry any day! Don't miss the Motag Living Museum: a must see two minutes' drive from the house. Day trips to Antique Province and Tibiao (think a smaller scale Ubud in Bali) can also be arranged and there is good overnight accommodation available there too. Just ask us. There is a Mitsubishi Montero 4WD jeep, a Honda Trial motorbike and a small moped at the house, all available for rent on a daily basis. Getting around is very easy and our staff can help with directions. Driving on the Island is actually pretty laid back other than Caticlan (drop off for Boracay) and some major towns (you wouldn't want to go there anyway!) Just remember: they drive on the right, don't always indicate, love to use the horn and...if you break it...you pay...including yourself! We also have four mountain bikes available for a modest daily rental. We are NOT on Boracay Island! If you are looking to stay ON Boracay, please do NOT book with us. We are a 45 minute car/boat ride door-door to Station 2 Boracay. So close enough to visit, but far enough to avoid all of the noise and tourists.
