A home in the woods
The Malur Mane (Malur Home) made around a traditional stone structure is at The Elephant Pond - Farmstay & Campsite, right at the edge of the Ragihalli Reserve Forest (part of the Bannerghatta National park forest range) and beside a pond amidst lush greenery, on a 30 acre property, just about 32 kms from the Bangalore city centre. The Malur Mane comes with ACs, kitchen, bathroom... Quaint, peaceful, away from the city, a combined experience of living next to a forest and an Indian Village. Go for hikes, cycling, camp in the property, BBQ, gaze at the stars or go for a safari. Guests have access to most of the property within the electrical fenced area I would love to interact with my guests but they are entitled to all the privacy that they need, with zero interaction. However, I am reachable by phone, via text and via email. The Malur Mane is right next to a forest and a village. The house is built in a way so as to not hamper the view with no railings, so not the best for kids until the age of 8 years. All guests have a designated parking area and they can also reach the property by public bus, that plies once every 3 hours from the CBD. You are next to a jungle, so please don’t get over adventurous when you see a wild animal both big or small.
