It is a crescent moon of fine sand, with a scattering of shingle and rock, shelving gently into the sea. There are three tavernas on the beach and adequate toilet facilities. This is a busy beach in peak season and is perfect for families with kids. Taxis are available at the area. Regular bus services to Paphos, Peyia and other areas are available throughout the day. Pay attention that electricity consumption is not included in rent and is calculated by meter reading according to town tariffs. Electricity 0,3 Euro/unit Smoking is not allowed inside the house. Villa Alba is located in the beautiful resort of Protaras. There is easy access to the main strip of Protaras as well as Ayia Napa being a short taxi or bus ride away. The modern villa sits at the top of a cul-de-sac and within walking distance of local amenities. There are four good sized bedrooms. Three of them are ensuite. The main bedroom has a balcony with partial sea views. There are two outdoor rattan seating areas and a gas-powered BBQ. One of the seating areas is under a new pergola. The villa has recently been renovated. Fast and free wifi is available throughout. The property is fully air conditioned. We also have a heated pool which you can request to use during the cooler months of the year. There is a gated driveway should you hire a car. Villa Alba is our holiday home. Taxis take around 3 minutes to the the top of the strip in Protaras or around 10 min to Ayia Napa. Buses are cheap and run regularly in Cyprus till late and go all around the island.

Today the village is known for its unique wildlife, amongst which is the Mouflon, species which is protected by Cyprus and International laws because it is an endangered species. It is also known for the viticultural zone Vouni Panagias, which is considered by the wine connoisseurs in Cyprus as one of the best on the whole island. The historical Chrysoroyiatissa Monastery is nearby. Other interesting sights include the various local wineries, the monastery of Agia Moni and the Vouni Panagias Nature Trail, which begins at the town square, and takes three hours to complete.
