Enjoy the convenience of Woolworths Express, over 40 retail stores and cafes, with direct access to Marvel Stadium, Melbourne's Docklands precinct, the CBD and Spencer Outlet Centre. There are tons of things to do in the city itself which are mostly a quick stroll away. Needless to say, surrounded by trams, cabs, buses and situated opposite the Southern Cross station, getting around is not going to be a problem at all. Hop on board the Skybus which provides a quick, convenient and cost effective way to get to and from the airport. Access to the Overland rail service TrainLink XPT. Coach services to Melbourne Airport and Avalon Airport, as well as regional Victorian and interstate destinations. Europcar, Budget and Avis rental car depots are just opposite the building in the Southern Cross station, so picking up and dropping off a rental car is super easy! There is also a tram stop just outside on Spencer St. Most importantly, all trams within the city grid are FREE. Just look out for the "FREE tram zone" signs. If you drive, we do have 1 FREE secured parking slot available for you. This is a private unit ALL TO YOURSELF and you WON'T be sharing this with any strangers during your stay. The "INSTANT-BOOK" function is enabled so you may instantly book the place if the dates you want are available. A representative will be assigned to check you in in person. Please be sure to notify us of your arrival times so that we can hand the keys to you personally. If you want to leave your luggage before checking-in or after you check-out, there are affordable luggage services and paid lockers across the road at the Southern Cross train station. They charge anywhere from AU$10 to AU$16 per locker for 24 hours worth of storage. Or at the BnB concierge located at shop 3/200 Spencer St, Melbourne VIC 3000. They charge anywhere from AU$8 per bag. This pad accommodates 4 adults generously but a max of 6 overnight. Any more than 4 adult guests overnight will attract an extra AU$14 per night, per additional guest. Myki is the card you will need for all public transport. When using a Myki card, please remember to always have sufficient value for your journey as hefty on the spot fines apply if you travel without correct fare or do not "tap on." Trips are about $3.80 for a 2-hour journey, but it all depends on what zones you travel in, if you are a concession card holder and if you buy a day pass. Myki cards can be topped up at any 7-11 Stores (7-Eleven Eureka Tower) or at many other shops that display the MYKI logo. MYKI machines are located at major tram stops, train stations and at convenience stores and news agents. Please be aware that cards can't be topped up on trams or trains any longer. Flinders St station is only a 15min walk away from us. 4min walk to Europcar South Melbourne. (56-58 Clarendon St, Southbank VIC 3006, Australia) if you need to rent a car. If you drive, the nearest paid parking lot is available at “Crown Parking, 33 Haig St, Southbank VIC 3006” just a 3 min walk away from us. Alternatively you may look online for other suitable parking options. If you just need to park your car temporarily for an hour or so, then you may observe the paid street parking signs around us. Hazards Rim on the east coast of Tasmania is an architecturally designed beach house offering a unique and comfortable experience in a natural setting. The beach house is nestled on the edge of Freycinet National Park, the gateway to Wineglass Bay. Surrounded by bush Hazards Rim is just 100 metres from a delightful sheltered beach and is close to the Wineglass Bay walking tracks. Covid safety changes to note prior to your arrival: Due to Covid safety, we have been advised to remove provisions and amenities that cannot be easily sanitised and to not proceed in sanitising food container & beverage container items. This includes items such as salt & pepper containers and cooking oil. Cardboard items such as al foil, cling wrap, paper towels and tissues etc have been removed for now. Wherever we can, we have switched to individually portioned items such as dish power, washing power, tea, coffee, sugar, salt and pepper sachets. All items are complimentary, and not included in the tariff, and are provided free of charge by the owner of the property. We do hope this is only a temporary measure and we can get back to our usual procedures at some stage soon, however we are following strict Covid safe regulations and guidelines, including having an in depth Covid safety plan and enhanced and adequate cleaning procedures. We have also removed the compendiums and have an online version for guests, we send this to guests in an email and there is also a QR code at the property to access this information on your own device. These changes are in place to keep guests safe, and it is vital that we do everything possible to ensure guests remain as safe as possible while staying in any of Freycinet Holiday Houses properties.

Upon entering this gorgeous property, you will instantly be captivated by its charm. Built in the early 1900s, it retains much of its original detail, then adds all the modern luxuries needed for an enjoyable country escape. The property has been beautifully styled with unique artwork, modern furnishings and gives a ‘luxe’ feel. The Studio style living and main bedroom area is a unique space bosting a Queen bed, high ceilings, and a comfortable area in which you can relax fitted with a plush leather lounge and TV. The lounge also folds out into a double sofa bed if you do have an extra traveller requiring a separate bed. The kitchen comes well equipped for your own catering, with an oven, stove top, sink, kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge and all cooking utensils needed to cook your own meals at home. A modern and stylish bathroom highlights a sumptuous bathtub and walk-in rain shower, along with a luxurious vanity. Guests will also have access to laundry facilities including a washing machine, located in the courtyard area. Access is available through the front door onto the main street or a more private access through the back lane of the property is also available. Ample street parking is available at both front and back of the building: on the main street as well as in the back yard. During your stay, you will have the entire downstairs unit to yourself. Please make yourself at home! The outdoor courtyard area is a shared space with guests in the upstairs unit. If you are travelling with more than 2 people, consider also booking the upstairs unit which is a 2-bedroom unit and will sleep an additional 4 guests. You would then have the entire building and courtyard to yourselves. Please read and respect the house rules. This is very much appreciated, thank you! Before your arrival, we will also share a house guide that contains instructions on how to access the property and anything else you may need to know. This unit is disabled access friendly. You’ll find that you are surrounded by native bush and the only sounds you will hear in the mornings are the native birds. An open-plan kitchen is off the glazed entrance with great views. The sunken living area adjoins the spectacular entrance area and is spacious and light. The master suite is up a sweeping staircase. The gardens blend-in beautifully with the bush surroundings. The driveway ends in a parking area for the house that can hold 4-5 cars. There is a garage used by the host. A short set of steps go up to the front door opening into the living/dining room. A wooden patio and balcony wraps around the right of the ground floor. A lawn wraps to the left to a paved patio with a table and chairs. we love this because... This beach house is so unassuming from the outside, with its impressive front door being the only hint at a house from the road. But it is so close to everything you need for a beach holiday. The pounding ocean beaches are within walking distance but take care to swim between the flags at all times. We love being in the house as it wraps around a central courtyard, and the focus is a heated in-ground pool where we can't get the kids to leave no matter what we offer. We cook up a BBQ and laze in the outdoor lounge, creating our very own poolside piazza. It's so cool in summer and cosy warm in winter. We hardly use our car, we walk the short distance to the newly renovated Portsea Hotel for stunning food and great views and a perfect holiday vibe. We grab our coffee from Le Capucin and stroll across the lawn to take in the views of the bay. For the adventurous among us, we always book a dolphin swim, kayak or snorkelling session with BayPlay because you just can't beat being on the water (at any time of year). On warm winter days, we choose between the Farnsworth Track, Point Nepean or the Millionaires walk(where we get a sneak peek into how the rich and famous live by walking through their front gardens...for real, absolutely allowed). IMPORTANT TO NOTE - Property is suitable for maximum of 8 adults plus additional children. *Please note the swimming pool is heated between November and April only. PAWfect What fun! a new house to visit that lets four-legged friends like me sleep inside. The courtyard garden doesn't have any grass so I always get a walk to tire me out. But there is a shady area at the side of the house that my 'hoomans' leave me when they go out, so I don't get too hot and I can feel safe. And there's a special basket just for me. No way! What's in there? Ooh, ooh! a treat from PAWDINKUM. I LOVE THIS PLACE.
