we love this because... we can walk across the road to the pristine beach to sunbake on the sand and dip our toes into the ocean. And at night we stroll metres to the vibrant cafes and restaurants of Dromana. We love being in the centre of things but it's only a few minutes drive to the wineries of Red Hill or the market town of Mornington. The property is vast so with our two families we have space on both levels and everyone is happy. In winter we snuggle up in front of the fire and head to the Peninsula Hot Springs for relaxing bathing. On summer nights we sit on the balcony or under the verandah and drink to being in the best holiday spot. Our favourite spot for breakfast is in the quieter back area of Dromana at Wombat Cafe but we do love the Laneway Espresso. Please note there is an intercom with camera. PAWfect If you are small or old like me then you will probably be fine but if you are a big WOOFER then its not the house for you. I love the grass in the back garden and the shady spots on the verandah. I can walk to the beach YAY!

The house is nestled in front of a national park and is featuring a lovely deep-water lagoon inhabited by Platypus ( no crocodiles! :-). A small wharf with a ladder makes sure to have a fun time swimming in it too. You can enjoy local wildlife including Pademelons, Bandicoots and Puff Breasted Kingfishers, Kookaburra. 20min to Port Douglas! The house is off the grid but solar supplies all the comfort. Starlink's (Elon Musk) fast and unlimited Wifi let's you connect to the world if you need it! No air-conditioning is needed as a fresh breeze comes through at any time. It is made to be comfortable without aircon. In fact, you will be happy to use the in-house fireplace during some nights of the colder months (June-August). We have a great Funky Monkey Bars Playground and XXL Vuly Trampoline to keep the kids entertained around the house. In the evening, enjoy a wine sitting next to the fire bowl in front of the house, or have a BBQ on the veranda. There are three sections to the house, and breathways between them make sure that you don't have to hear all other people at all times. You can access all parts on the property except the shed/storage area. It will be marked. Please call or text if you require anything. The last 1km to the house is unsealed but accessible all year without a problem with any car, you won't have an access problem even if you drive a small car! It is a very firm and even unsealed road. If you are bringing a dog, please ensure they are not sleeping not chasing any wildlife, in particular, they are not allowed in the national park.
