In the Old Village, guests can find all they need in the local bars, restaurants, bakery and supermarket. By foot, the Vilamoura Marina is a pleasant walk. The tourist train however comes by the resort too, and a ride with Uber is around five euros. Cars can be parked in the village or or surrounding streets. A Tours and Transfers service is available to take you either on short trips to the Marina or Waterpark or further a field in the Algarve. If you have difficulty with stairs, this apartment may not be suitable, as it's accessed by stairs and spread over three floors (incl. rooftop terrace). Stair gates are fitted inside for guests with small children. Please be informed that the Old Village condominium charges for the sun loungers at the pools: €2 per bed per half day. This is to ensure that beds aren't blocked out for the whole day and to give everyone the opportunity to enjoy the pools. In the winter, some restaurants and bars in the Old Village will be closed. The supermarket remains open all year, and of course most of the restaurants and bars at the Marina do too.
