Villa "ATHENA" is adjacent to a one-hundred year old room, the so-called steghathi, one of the oldest stone constructions of the island. The room, which has 1-metre thick stone walls and a traditional fireplace, has been fully renovated and converted into one of the bedrooms. It has a separate roofed entrance. The ground floor of the main house has two en-suite bedrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen, a dining room, a sitting room and an extra bathroom, all rooms with stone floors. The first floor has two en-suite bedrooms and leads to a three-level balcony with far-reaching views on the hilly countryside. All bedrooms and the living room have 40” satellite TVs and WiFi access.The front porch is lined by tall palm trees and offers nice views on a fir/pine tree garden. At the side of the building there is a wide terrace with sitting and barbecue facilities, beautiful plants and flowers, and a veranda with great views. Attached to the terrace, at a slightly lower level, is the independent and private swimming pool, which has been designed to follow the curves of the adjacent rock. The door leading to the pool can be locked for safety reasons. Around the pool are olive trees, while local herbs growing on the rock delight the visitors’ senses. There is a wooden veranda and a roofed pool bar, equipped with a sink and fridge.
POSEIDON villa with a private swimming pool
Villa POSEIDON is located on the brow of the hill, offering breathtaking views both on the countryside and the Aegean sea, all the way to Attica and Cape Sounion, where the famous temple of Poseidon lies. The three-floor house is built entirely with local stone. The ground floor has two bedrooms, one of which en suite, and a fully-equipped kitchen. The kitchen door leads to a porch with sitting facilities and beautiful countryside views. Ten metres to the right is a stone barbecue. Through the kitchen, if you go up a couple of steps, you get to one of the two terraces of the house. The first floor includes the entrance to the house, which leads to a large sitting room, and one en-suite bedroom. In front of the entrance there is a porch which leads to the second terrace, which has a pergola and sitting facilities. On the second floor there are two en-suite bedrooms and a common balcony, from which you can enjoy amazing sunsets. All rooms have stone floors, and have been meticulously decorated with traditional furniture and handicrafts. All bedrooms have WiFi access and large flat-screen TVs. Adjacent to the house, at a lower level, is a studio with its own private entrance.
