No problems hitching a cab or getting on a bus on LaTrobe or Russell St if you would like to head out of the city. If you plan to take a train, you're just a 5 minute walk away from the Melbourne Central station. If you drive, the nearest paid parking lot is available at “WILSON PARKING” - 62 La Trobe St which is just a 3min walk away from us. Alternatively you may look online for other suitable parking options. If you just need to park your car temporarily for an hour or so, then you may observe the paid street parking signs around us. Bus If you’re travelling from the city to Bondi Beach, the bus often runs from Circular Quay and will take approximately 45 minutes. This bus is usually the 380 or 333 bus, and is close to ferry wharf number 2 (opposite the AMP buildings and Customs House). Train If you prefer to catch the train, the stops from Central Station run through Central, Town Hall, Martin Place, Kings Cross, Edgecliff and then Bondi Junction. From Bondi Junction station, you can then catch the 380, 381, 382 or 333 bus which will take you to Bondi Beach. Bike Although it may not be a traditional method of transport in and around Sydney, biking may be a great option for those looking for a physical activity to take them where they need to go. And you’ll get to see some great Sydney sights along the way. There are tons of things to do in the city itself which are mostly a quick stroll away. Needless to say, surrounded by trams, cabs, buses and situated right next to the Southern Cross station, getting around is not going to be a problem at all. Hop on board the Skybus which provides a quick, convenient and cost effective way to get to and from the airport. Access to the Overland rail service TrainLink XPT. Coach services to Melbourne Airport and Avalon Airport, as well as regional Victorian and interstate destinations. Europcar, Budget and Avis rental car depots are just opposite the building in the Southern Cross station, so picking up and dropping off a rental car is super easy! There is also a tram stop right outside the main entrance on Spencer Street. Most importantly, all trams within the city grid are FREE. Just look out for the "FREE tram zone" signs. If you drive, the nearest paid parking lot is available at “SOUTHERN CROSS STATION CAR PARK” or otherwise known as “WILSON PARKING” - 163-235 Spencer St, which is a 2min walk away from us. Alternatively you may look online for other suitable parking options. If you just need to park your car temporarily for an hour or so, then you may observe the paid street parking signs around us. This is a private unit ALL TO YOURSELF and you WON'T be sharing this with any strangers during your stay. A representative will be assigned to check you in in person. Please be sure to notify us of your arrival times so that we can hand the keys to you personally. If you want to leave your luggage before checking-in or after you check-out, there are affordable luggage services and paid lockers across the road at the Southern Cross train station. They charge anywhere from AU$10 to AU$16 per locker for 24 hours worth of storage. Or at the BnB concierge located at shop 3/200 Spencer St, Melbourne VIC 3000. They charge anywhere from AU$8 per bag. This pad accommodates 2 adults comfortably but a max of 4 overnight. Any more than 3 adult guests overnight will attract an extra AU$14 per night, per additional guest.
