Pueblo Colorado is situated 40 kilometers away from Tarapoto with regular flights to and from Lima. Pueblo Colorado combines modern comfort with the best that nature has to offer with pure spring drinking water and beautiful jungle wildlife such as sloths, monkeys playing in the trees, fireflies at night, and the majestic blue Morpho butterflies. Round trip transportation from Tarapoto to Pueblo Colorado is included in your reservation. In Pueblo Colorado we understand the importance of privacy, and we do not interfere with our guests during their stay unless they request it. But if you need help with anything, we'll be more than happy to help, and we can be there in under 5 minutes. We can also prepare delicious meals for you and take care of you during your stay if you wish. We have many years of hosting experience, and we love it. Access to Pueblo Colorado is by an 8 km dirt road, which is why round-trip transportation from Tarapoto to Pueblo Colorado is included in your reservation. Pueblo Colorado runs on solar power, which provides ample electricity 24 hours a day to power lights, audiovisual equipment, and power outlets throughout our buildings. The system is designed to power electrical items such as phone chargers and computers and is not equipped to power high-powered appliances such as hair dryers or curling irons. If your electricity needs are greater than what the solar-powered system can provide, an additional generator can be connected to the system. All 4 shared bungalows are connected to an independent generator that will be turned on upon request and during the evening from 6 to 11 PM.
