A 50 minutes drive away from the busy city of Kuala lumpur, a wonderful gateaway for you to relax and unwind with your family & friends. The villa is close to Bentong town (5 minutes drive), and the area is very quiet and a good place to relax after a long day (or night) of exploring Bentong or Raub or nearby towns. The villa has a huge balcony to sneak off, it's located on our third floor balcony overlooking the surrounding forest and layers of mountains. Hang out long enough and you might even see the colours change of sunset. Or relaxing on our third floor balcony with a good read or enjoy some al-fresco dining, the changing scenery/ sunset/ sunrise will thrill you and captivate your senses without you even having to leave the house! ABOUT THIS SPACE Our place, 27 Ah Peng, is a vintage 2-bedroom property in the heart of durian country. It's within walking distance of Bentong's best food, and the dazzling Chamang waterfall and fruit orchards are only a few minutes drive away. Meet our friendly neighbours and rediscover old world trades amidst old shops, barbers & even a printing press. A block from the lively Bentong Walk night & morning markets, 27 is great for couples & family adventures - or you can just curl up on the sofa with a book :) THE SPACE Dating back to 1934, our vintage loft is a retro escape located above an old bookshop on one of Bentong's historical main streets. Bentong is a charming old tin mining town in Pahang, and is just an hour's drive by highway from Kuala Lumpur. Hong Kong classic film-inspired and with 1500 sqf to relax in, our place features two bedrooms and a large living & dining area. Just 100 meters away from Bentong Walk, cafes, restaurants, shops and the town market, you’ll be within walking distance of the town’s best food & places to explore. GUEST ACCESS There is ample parking along the street our unit is on. Guests can also park in the back lane behind our unit. However, if you are parking on the main street on weekdays, you will need to buy scratch & display coupons which are available at the bookstore directly below us. On weekends, it's free. KINDLY NOTE There can be some noise from the street as we are located on the main road - so we appreciate your understanding :) As our property is an old one, certain sections of the floorboards can feel a bit sandy despite being swept, vacuumed & mopped after every checkout. Our bedrooms are air-conditioned & we hope to install air-conditioning in the living area soon. By the way, we have a long staircase leading up to our unit, older folks & children may need a helping hand when enter. Lastly, our wifi works fairly well with most devices. However, speeds may vary.
