Hot-springs, Amabere Ganyinamwiru Caves with Stalactites & Stalagmites and mountain climbing facilities (20 minutes' drive) and 52 crater lakes which is the world's highest concentration per square Kilometre. We are as well, very near Kibaale Forest, the home of native coffee trees, unique bird species, Chimpanzees & other primates (10 minutes' drive) and Semuliki National Park & Queen Elizabeth National park that is popular for 4 of the big 5 jungle animals including the Lions, Elephants, Leopards and African Buffalos (45 minutes' drive). Our home is surrounded by lush rural greenery and farmland, which in the evening is bathed in the orange glow of a sunset that is second to none. We are not far from the tarmac connecting Fort Portal to Kasese. There is also free parking for those headed for safari so this is a great stop over if you plan to hike Mountain Rwenzori, trek chimpanzee in Kibale Forest, go birding in Semliki Valley, and finally game drives in Queen Elizabeth National Park.
