Renovated Japanese traditional house which is built in 1954 in the suburb of Nagoya. Obu city where the house is located is next to Nagoya city. The access is easy to JR Nagoya station from JR Obu station. It takes approximately 17 to 25 mins. It depends on rapid train or local train to take. We have free shuttle service to JR Obu station from the first train in the morning to last train in the midnight. So feel free to enjoy your journey even you can drink because we are sure to pick you up to the station. We are also happy to pick you up to Nagoya international airport and also drop off after check-out. We can keep your baggages before check-in and after check-out. For example if you extend your trip to Takayama, Shirakawago, we can also keep your luggages in the storage with key lock for a several days. We listen to what you really would like to do here or Japan to consult, arrange your suitable tour to make together and guide in English from local tourism to a bit far away. We have some activities inside. Japanese tea workshop to learn Japanese tea history, ingredients, how to make tea, tasting different type of Japanese tea, also cultivars. Japanese whiskey tasting workshop is available. We have several Japanese craft whiskeys as well from Japanese distilleries. The owner has been visiting tea producers and whiskey distilleries throughout Japan and directly purchased. We can also researching and booking tickets in advance and so on. Our concept is all the tourists who visit Japan experience memorable trip. So we are flexible to arrange your itinerary to listen to. Hopefully we could assist one part of your adventure. We have arranged to Kyoto, Osaka trip, Takayama and Shirakawago as well as Gokayama, mountain trekking to Japan Alps, traditional festival to join, watching Japanese fireworks, etc… Please feel free to send a message if you have any questions.

The house was renovated in 2018 and still continues the part of them. The traditional house with Tatami floors on the ground floor(1st floor) and western style lounge room(living room), kitchen and bathrooms. Two beds on second floor with Pachinko machine. The group over 10 is welcome. Maximum 12 people in total in our experience from the US. The guide and tours are consulted in advance. We had experienced with US travel agency to make itinerary with minibus to stop by here and around Japan. The rooms are all to your groups privately. Only the garden and reception house(Japanese tea house and 2 dorms) are sharing space outside the house. We have 2 houses in the same lot and if you are over 10, it’s possible to rent the next agoda house since 1954 in the same lot. Any places except for the another agoda house since 1954 in the same lot. And please be nice if you come across people in the garden and reception house(Japanese Tea house and 2 dorms) and local people around. We can assist anytime you stay except for sleeping and eating time. Free shuttle between JR Obu station and agoda as well as Meitetsu Otagawa station and agoda. You can use free shuttle to LEGOLAND once while you stay. Public bus is available to take from Higashi Yoshikawa bus stop to Meitetsu Owariyokosuka station or JR Obu station. We have many historical items and furnitures in the house and garden. Please make sure that if you damage the items and furnitures. There is no spares and we will charge you before checking out. Deposit of your credit card requests while you stay here.
