Our chalet in the Black Forest in almost secluded location in the small hamlet of Salzenweiler is idyllically located on a plateau overlooking meadows and fields and in the adjacent Black Forest. From here directly go hiking trails and mountain bike trails. The Chalet Salzenweiler - a gem for a family holiday or dog holiday. Here you can relax and enjoy nature. In 2016, it was painstakingly restored by a Black Forest architect. Here you can spend romantic days together in a private ambience. With a bit of luck, you might even see a deer jump over in the early morning. A highlight is the barrel sauna, which is just there for you in the garden. Or you can be inspired by the great paintings of a local artist. For your four-legged friend the property is fenced. The former Vogtshof of the monastery of St. Georgen is the oldest residential building in the Rottweiler district of Bühlingen. He was first mentioned in 1380. It is believed that the Vogtshof, as the most important building in the village after the end of the 30-year war (1618-1648), burned down in the whole Bühlingen, was first rebuilt. From 1983-87, the house was elaborately and expertly restored, so that it now resembles its original state. All rooms, except the original farmhouse parlor, have underfloor heating. In the room is still the original plank floor, which is why radiators were installed here. The room also has a basic oven, which is fired from the kitchen and spreads a cozy warmth in winter.
