Since it is located too close to nature, it is unavoidable to see some bugs, lizards, monkeys, dogs, roosters or chicken,s etc. Enjoy the simplicity, and reconnect with nature, once again. Palawan is a tropical island and consequently, sometimes there are “tắc kè” gecko lizards, spiders, and other insects around. We carry out pest control services on a weekly basis to diminish their presence. But being so close & within nature, they are often seen & are not dangerous, however, we have provided mosquito net for your peace of mind. Take note our villas are sealed. We have two villas right on the beach. This studio-type villa was built for a couple however 8 persons can sleep here. We have 2 double beds where 4 persons can sleep and we can provide 2 extra floor mattresses where additional 4 persons can sleep. We have a two-bedroom villa on the beach which can accommodate up to 12 persons (rented separately). We have also a few camping tents where we can accommodate 10 to 12 persons or more if your group is bigger. Just advise us in advance. We have an in-house kitchen in each villa and we also have a common kitchen outside the villa in our utility area. You may cook or order your food from our menu in 2 day advance. If you have specific menu or special request for food, please let us know 2-3 days in advance. Foods are like home made style cook by our local caretaker. In the evening you can ask our staff to set up a BBQ Grill on the beach area. Guests often sit on the beach where we can also grill or make a BBQ for you. IMPORTANT: Expect back to basic. We have limited staff only. Everything here is primitive island-style and not like a commercial resort or hotel. No stores or restaurants nearby. A remote location where you can only enjoy the sea, wind, sand, and waves. If you would like to cook, before going to Moon beach villas, Please purchase all the grocery items for your entire stay from puerto princesa or from el nido market. No nearby stores available of our villa. El nido market closes 6/7 PM. Or order from our food menu 2-3 day in advance. Solar power is generally available 24/7 unless weather or technical issue arises. There are times solar energy may be shut down. Our freshwater source is from deep forest natural spring, the mountain at the back. We have installed our own filtering system, however, there are times to expect slightly blurry water but take note natural spring water is clean but not potable. No ATMs, no stores, no restaurants, no nightlife. We are located off the beaten track. Please be aware that the road to us is quite muddy and “adventurous” during the rainy season and is especially challenging to traverse by motorbike. Road from el nido town to our property is a drit/rough road. In the event of road is not accessible (in case of weather condition), we will have to arrange transfer by boat about 25 mins from the drop off place of Brgy Teneguiban. There are times between Nov- Feb, sea may be rough. Boat rental will apply. Cell phone signal and internet: We encourage disconnecting yourself from everything. Life in a remote beach area is very different from the rest of the world. We do not have a cell phone signal in our place (signal may be available if walk up to the mountain) and we take pride in this as an opportunity to escape from the stressful life. However, If you really cannot disconnect yourself from the rest of the world, you can walk up to the mountain to get a cell phone signal. Satellite Internet Charges: P500 per night charge. Good for 24 hours. No limit on usage or number of devices. If you stay for 2 nights stay, P1000. Al Fresco Springs 1 is the first resort of the Al Fresco Springs lineup. Located conveniently beside Al Fresco Springs 2, this hot spring resort is perfect for smaller groups and can accommodate up to 20 people. It has a spectacular view of Mt. Makiling and its cozy atmosphere is sure to make your experience memorable. Check-in time: 7pm Check-out time: 5pm Max capacity: 20 pax =========== Amenities =========== All amenities listed below are free to use. - Main pool (Max depth: 4.5 feet) - Kiddie pool (Max depth: 3 feet) - Refrigerator - BBQ Grill - Ice chest/cooler - Wi-Fi - Videoke - Basic cable TV Things to note: - Our pools contain natural hot spring water. You can expect the pool water to be warm or hot, depending on your tolerance. - Videoke is available only up until 10PM. Unfortunately this is out of our control since it is a municipal ordinance. This is also in consideration of neighbors. - All other amenities can be found in detail below. =========== Bedrooms =========== Rooms will be limited based on the number of pax, since our rate is heavily discounted. All 4 bedrooms are air-conditioned. There are 3 bedrooms located on the second floor and 1 small bedroom (meant for seniors or those with disabilities) located on the ground floor. Max sleeping capacity is for 25 pax only. Our beds come with pillows and sheets. Blankets can be requested upon check-in from the caretaker (no charge). =========== Bathrooms =========== All of the 4 rooms are equipped with their own bathroom. There is an additional restroom (no shower) on the ground floor, conveniently located near the pool. Please note that we do not provide toiletries and towels. =========== Kitchen =========== Kitchen 1 has a countertop with a sink and a fridge. Kitchen 1 is mostly meant for washing dishes, microwaving food (upon request), food preparation, and extra countertop space. At the back of the resort is Kitchen 2. It is equipped with a sink, two-burner gas stove (costs an additional fee; please see "Extra Fees" section). Guests are expected to bring their own cookware/utensils, though we do provide the basics: medium-sized pots, pans, knife, and chopping board. The grill is located near the entrance in the garage area. You are free to use the grill; charcoal can be bought from the caretaker. =========== Guest Limit =========== The max limit is 20 pax. Any excess of this maximum will be denied entry. Children above 2 years old are included in the headcount. =========== Extra Fees =========== - Events fee/catering: ₱900 - Food Cart, Mobile Bar, Photo Booth: ₱500 per supplier - Sound system, professional lights & sounds: ₱500 per item - Time extension**: ₱900 per hour **Strictly subject to approval and can only be allowed if the next time slot is available. A surcharge of ₱900 per hour will be billed for *approved* extension/early check-in. Otherwise, you will be asked to check-out on time. As much as we would love to meet all of our guests, management is mainly located outside of Laguna. During your stay, caretakers are there to help you for most of the day, from 6am in the morning to 12 midnight. Please do not hesitate to ask our caretakers for any questions or concerns you might have. They'll be more than happy to assist you. Also, please understand that the caretakers can be busy at times (e.g. when they're assisting other guests for check-in, cleaning the other resort) However, we will do our best to assist you at all times. For urgent matters, please free to give us a call. Al Fresco Springs 1 is located in Lakewood Subdivision, a guarded subdivision. We have another resort (Al Fresco Springs 2) right beside the resort. You'll be getting a nice view of Mount Makiling, where our hot spring water is sourced from. Al Fresco Springs 1 is just an hour drive from Makati. The resort is accessible by public transportation. - We only accept cash (Philippine Peso) in the resort. Please keep this in mind if any of the extra fees apply to you. - All vehicles can be safely parked by the curb just outside of the resort. We also have a private parking lot in front of the resort. The resort is located in a guarded subdivision, where guards roam at least twice during the night. Rest assured your parked vehicles will be safe during your stay. - Al Fresco Springs 1 is right beside our other resort, Al Fresco Springs 2. There is a wall/barrier separating the two resorts for privacy and noise reduction. Please be considerate of the guests next door; keep the noise down after midnight. - We do not offer flexible check-in and check-out times since we follow a tight schedule. You can only stay for up to 22 hours unless a time extension is approved (see "Extra Fees"). Check in starts at 7pm; check-out is at 5pm. - Cut-off time for checking in is 11pm. The resort will be closed until 6am to guests arriving after the cut-off time. Please let us know in advance if you will be checking-in late after 11pm.
