Borgo di Gaiole is a beautifully located complex overlooking the village of Gaiole in the heart of the Chianti region. The Borgo consists of approximately 40 houses, built entirely along the lines of the nearby medieval village of Vertine, which is only a few kilometres from the Borgo. All apartments are made from natural stone and terracotta. The Borgo has a swimming pool of approximately 25 m, as well as a fitness room for shared use. An underground car park is available. The holiday home has an indoor area of 150 sq.m. and an outdoor area of 150 sq.m. The accommodation offers a lot of privacy, a pleasant garden and a beautiful view of Gaiole and the surroundings. The holiday home has been furnished throughout with high-quality materials. Both the interior and exterior spaces are child-friendly. The outdoor space is enclosed and gated. Gaiole is a small village in the Province of Siena with approximately 2,300 residents, where everyone knows each other. It is a beautiful and somewhat hidden community just beyond the tourist routes. For centuries, Gaiole has been on the border area of Siena and Florence, and has witnessed many battles. As a result, it was often the target of skirmishes until the fall of Siena in 1555. Both in summer and in winter, it is interesting to visit Gaiole in Chianti, because it does not depend on mass tourism. Surroundings Gaiole in Chianti is centrally located between Firenze (1 hour) and Siena (30 mins).
