Our Villa is 70 sq.m., was built in 2021 and is located in Perissa, Santorini. It is a modern two-storey vaulted house with island style that will offer you relaxation and beautiful moments during your vacation. It is located on the main road of Perissa and is 800 meters from the most famous black beach of the island, Perivolos. Our villa has two bedrooms. One on the ground floor with front terrace overlooking the sea and the private pool and a backyard terrace with mountain views. A bedroom on the first floor that has a terrace with privet outdoor jacuzzi overlooking the private pool and the sea. There are bathrooms on both levels. Also on the ground floor there is a full kitchen with dining area and a sofa bed for a fifth guest. At the entrance of the Villa there is a private area for free parking of guests. Guests have access to all areas of the facility. Guests can contact us in any way they wish and we are at their disposal for any information. The Villa is located on the main road of Perissa. At 200 meters is the second largest supermarket on the island and at 300 meters tourist office. The villa is also one kilometer from the largest village of Santorini, Emporio, which has a traditional settlement (Kastelli) and the hill with the windmills. At 800 meters is the coastal road with restaurants, cafes and tourist shops as well as the most famous black beach of the island, Perivolos. Lake Kournas was known as Lake Koressia in antiquity but later took its current name from the Arabic word for lake. The lake is in a beautiful landscape, lying in a valley among the hills, about 4 km from Georgioupolis in Chania Prefecture (west Crete). Lake Kournas is relatively small, with a maximum length of 1,087 m and a maximum breadth of 880 m. It covers an area of 579,000 sq. m. and is generally shallow, 22.5 m at its deepest point, while it lies approximately 20 m above sea level. Kournas Lake is the ideal place for an afternoon walk or a daytrip nearby. Many people like to have an afternoon picnic there. The landscape is lovely and relaxing, whether you want to go for a walk in the countryside, swim or ride a pedalo on the lake. There are two springs on the southeast bank, one of which, the Mati or Amati (“eye”) as the locals call it, is visible in late summer. The lake is fed by streams from the nearby mountains and hills, whose underground courses are interrupted by the local bedrock on the way to the sea. Lake Kournas and its environs are protected under Natura 2000.
