Burton Green is a village and civil parish in the Warwick district of the county of Warwickshire, England, some 4.8 km northwest of Kenilworth and 8.8 km southwest of Coventry. The house itself is a corner plot within a cul-de-sac of a new housing estate, built to house local families who want to be close to the city but an escape. We have one pub, "Hickorys" which is an American Smokehouse. Leave your car at home and walk the 15-20 minutes to sample their delicious cocktails. In the summer, lounge around all day in the stylish garden. Alternativley get out into nature, or take a short trip to neighbouring town Kenilworth, the farm shop in Balsall Common, outlet shopping at Resorts World, visits Coventry's history or Shakespears home of Stratford Upon Avon is just 25 minutes away. It is nestled between some truly beautiful countryside. We'll recommend a variety of walks including visiting local woods. We're on the doorstep of the "Green Way". The Kenilworth to Berkswell Greenway is a linear Country Park in south Warwickshire countryside, following a 6.5 km section of former railway, with the park extending to around 16 hectares. The Greenway, as well as being a linear Country Park, is a permissive bridleway which means that it can be used by pedestrians, cyclists and horse-riders. It is also regularly used by athletes, educationalists, scientists, geologists, archaeologists and for geocaching. The Greenway follows the old railway branch line from Berkswell to Kenilworth Junction, first opened in 1884. Left to itself, the old railway became a wildlife corridor. Hawthorn, birch and other plants quickly took hold and softened the edges, animals and birds found cover for dens and nests. Warwickshire County Council took ownership in the 1970′s but apart from work to clear a wider path, it was left to the walkers and the wildlife. A car is recommended although there are buses and Uber is easy to come by. Bowls provided. We can connect you with a local dog walker too, should you want to go exploring for the day! The gym should only be used with someone else present and is used at your own risk. There is CCTV around the perimeter of the property and a smart doorbell. Strictly no parties (loud music, unauthorised guests etc). The short-term rental will be terminated.
