Fair, hence the Palace being named Fair Lawns. The Palace, though a heritage property, is now in ruins, but due to its unique and salubrious location, these cottages were constructed with a view to providing the guests with an uninterrupted panoramic view of the Doon valley on one side and the twinkling lights of the crowded Mall Road, Mussoorie on the other. The space The location is scenic and quiet. The cottage is a duplex type with a drawing cum dining room, with an open kitchen, and a small room for a single folding bed and a toilet on the ground floor. A staircase takes you to another small room for the extra guest, leading to the 2 bedrooms each with attached bathrooms. Open sitting spaces overlooking mountains and the Doon Valley.
