Access to the property is via the Freycinet National Park on a well-maintained gravel road easily navigable with a 2WD vehicle. The retreat boasts magnificent views with absolute beach frontage and is set on 25 acres of coastal heath and dry sclerophyll forest surrounded by the ocean and national park. If seclusion and total relaxation is what you are after, then this property has it all. Silvermoon is completely off grid and eco-friendly however, has all the comforts you will expect from a property of this calibre. Wake up to whales passing by along with all the other marine life that Bicheno is famous for. Wildlife is abundant and easily observed especially sea bird species including a nesting pair of Sea Eagles. Whales are regularly seen during their annual Spring & Autumn migration to and from Antarctica. From your doorstep there are two private walking tracks to the beach which more often than not you will have completely to yourself. Enjoy, walking the beach, fishing for flathead, surfing or sunbaking right in front of your property without being disturbed. Silvermoon is completely private which makes the ideal getaway for couples to enjoy and relax. The open plan living/kitchen is so inviting with its spacious area to relax and added bonus of a wood heater to create a warm ambience on cooler days and nights. The kitchen provides all the appliances you will need when cooking with Bicheno’s famous seafood and produce. The bathroom has a modern spacious walk-in shower and there is a separate toilet. The property has one bedroom with a queen bed, so lay back and enjoy the glorious uninterrupted views of the beach and ocean from your bed. Wi-Fi internet is also available. Access to the property is via a gravel road through 6km of the Freycinet National Park in Bicheno. The road is easily accessible by a 2-wheel drive vehicle so no need to have a 4-wheel drive car. Aboriginal Heritage The property as with much of the East Coast has a long history of Aboriginal culture. As the current custodians of this property my family and I would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of this beautiful land and we pay our respects to past and present first nation peoples. A romantic, historic Carriage House built in 1882 on a beautiful estate. Footsteps away from the Blue Mountains National Park, Jamison Valley and a short stroll from your doorstep to stunning lookouts and hiking trails to Empress Falls and Wentworth Falls. This gorgeous retreat is perfect for a few days away. During September pay for Friday and Saturday night and get either Thursday or Sunday free! The property is two-storey with large lounge/living room, dining room, large kitchen and bathroom downstairs. Upstairs are the main bedroom and second bedroom. Also a work space/desk. Access is down Murphy's Lane (just off Fletcher Street). There is a carport right next to the cottage. The home is just a few doors away from the Wentworth Falls Conservation Hut. This means you have direct access (with absolutely no driving needed) to some of the best hiking trails in the Blue Mountains. Empress Falls and Canyon are on your doorstep, along with famous lookouts like Queen Victoria, Lyrebird Lookout and others. A hiking trail down to Wentworth Falls also starts just a few footsteps away. Wentworth Falls Village is just 5 minutes away, and Leura Mall is just 6 minutes away by car. A unique Blue mountains stay because you don't have to get in your car to go see a lookout or waterfall or nature trail - simply step out of your door and onto the track. You have your own dedicated undercover parking and private entrance. Leura Mall and Woolworths grocery store is a 5 minute drive. The cottage has been recently and fully renovated. It is a private and beautiful oasis of luxury on an historic 2 acre Estate perched on the side of the Blue Mountains National Park/Jamison Valley. Hiking trails are only a few steps away from your front door. It is a unique place of privacy, history and luxury.

It can be nice to have a base, rather than moving from place to place. Every. Single. Night. Suitcases are traumatic. You are best to explore the East Coast of Tassie by car, otherwise it is difficult to navigate. There are no taxi service or ride share companies.

There is a flight of stairs leading up from the kitchen and loungeroom to the upstairs carpeted bedrooms. The stairs may present problems for young kids and anyone with physical concerns. There are two bathrooms , an ensuite with shower to the master king bedroom and an extra shower , toilet and claw foot bath downstairs. There are two toilets - one downstairs and one upstairs. This space is situated in the heart of the village so cafes, shops and nature walks are right outside your door. There’s really nowhere in the world quite like Darling Harbour. From first light to starry nights, there’s always something going on here. Coffee machines froth, water laps, children play, friends chat, steaks sear, glasses clink, bass thumps and fireworks crackle. Infectious sounds travel on harbour breezes as text messages and online updates share snapshots of good times. There are tons of things to do in the city itself which are mostly a quick stroll away. (TIP: Parking in Sydney is super expensive! You'll be lucky to get away with AU$69 a day for parking. Try not to drive if you can cos you're located near them train stations and public transportation in the city is just amazingly convenient. Uber's my preferred option.) This is a private unit ALL TO YOURSELF and you WON'T be sharing this with any strangers during your stay. A representative will be assigned to check you in in person. Please be sure to notify us of your arrival times so that we can hand the keys to you personally. This pad accommodates 2 adults comfortably but a max of 3 overnight at no extra charge. The Salt House- FREE Night*
we love this because.. as soon as you walk through the door you feel your shoulders drop and it instantly invites you to relax. With tall ceilings its so spacious and perfectly designed with enormous entertaining space connected to an undercover deck and sparkling pool surrounded by native bush and trees. Our small kids are entertained with a a hidden cubby complete with verandah and table and chairs for them to play "house" and the larger kids can watch TV in a seperate lounge or play a tournament of "pacman". It's just the perfect spot for the whole family with spaces to work and shady spots on open decks and verandahs to read or chat. We also love the fact that the National Park is only metres away so a healthy walk along the tracks to Sixteenth Beach and beyond is perfect. Our favourite spot for coffee and lunch either Sixteenth Beach General Store or Peninsula Pantry, only a 15 or so minute walk away. For dinner, we take a short drive to Rye and choose Del Posto. Please note: There is a ring security camera at the front door. The ring system will only activate once someone is at the door and not a continuous recording. PAWfect Ooh, ooh! so excited that I can stay in such a beautiful property but I can't walk in the National Park so my hoomans take me to the local dog friendly leash free beach in Blairgowrie. The garden has high fences in most areas (one little spot with a chicken wire fence) and a secure gate so I feel really safe.

The property is located in Point Clare right near Gosford Harbour ('Brisbane Water' on the map). We are a 3 minute walk from the water. The street is a cul-de-sac, where you will wake up to the sound of birds. The closest beaches are Umina and Ettalong which are about a 15 min drive away. All the basic amenities are close by - Aldi, bottle shop, Thai food, cafe is 2 min drive. Coles and a small shopping centre is less than 5 min drive. Restaurants like The Coast, The Boathouse, Gosford RSL and the Sailing Club are 5-10 min drive away. Point Clare train station is 900m away from the house. Free on street parking is available. It is a cul-de-sac street and you will have parking spots available at all times. An early check-in or late check-out can potentially be organised in advance, depending on other bookings. I will do my best to accommodate your request if the circumstances allow. Please let me know in advance if you are happy to pay the extra $40 fee, so I can arrange it with the cleaners. Thank you.

The short drive to Forster allows you to reach the beach in a matter of minutes and return just as quickly to the backdrop of timbered brush country. Alternatively, you can also just sit back and relax and enjoy the views in pure luxury. Make your trip complete by visiting the nearby town that is Nabiac, where you will find all your essentials and more. Guest Access The house can be used in its entirety. The garage, however, is locked but guests are more than welcome to park their vehicles anywhere on the property. Access to the paddocks is also restricted for guest safety. Guests are to stay behind the fencing and stay on the designated footpath. Water is present for much of the year. Children must be supervised at all times. • There are cattle running on designated paddocks ( fully fenced ). While they are friendly, guests are to stay behind the fencing. • Our property is home to a range of wildlife such as wallabies, so we ask guests to be respectful of their space and view from a safe distance.

Bayviews is not suitable for babies, infants and children under teenage years. We have all the local & regional info on where to go, what to see, what to do...where to eat (and where not to) where to shop etc.....
