we love this because... The sound of the birdlife surrounds this home and kookaburras, lorikeets and cockatoos love to perch on the balconied deck and eat out of our hand if we invite them to. We love the native bush surrounding the house, set high on a ridge in Mount Martha with glimpses of the ocean through the trees. And its only a stone's throw from Mount Martha golf course (golf anyone?). Decorated with artefacts from Melanesia it is a fascinating interior, not to mention the interesting book collection where we spend hours browsing and reading. We love a holiday to have that effortless living of indoor-outdoor. Just like a resort, there are concertina doors that slide back to make the upper lounge and deck one complete room. In summer the kids love the pool area and as they play all day, we lounge on the deck with a drink in hand and watch from a distance. If the kids want something more adventurous, you could walk the 30 minutes to The Pillars, a small rock ledge that sits up out of the bay with cliffs that range from about one and a half to five metres ready to be jumped off into the blue ocean, its a popular spot so be warned! For coffee, we choose Mr Curtis our favourite spot in the village (a 6-minute drive away or a 50-minute walk) and for dinner Volpino Pizzeria and Wine Bar, we always get a seat outside and watch the world go by with a glass of Pinot. Love the trees and bushes, there are lots of interesting smells. Are those possums in the trees? And there's a special basket just for me. No way! What's in there? Ooh, ooh! a treat from PAWDINKUM. A spacious 4 bedroom home located in the Medical precinct in Central Wagga. Beautifully furnished. Kitchen (including microwave, toaster, sandwich press, Nespresso coffee pod machine, electric frypan, kettle, dishwasher, fridge, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery)- this provides an option for preparing your own meals if preferred. All brand new appliances. Otherwise, the house is located close by great cafes and restaurants. Food- we supply some basics like milk, a variety of teas, coffee, salt and pepper, cooking oil, and small cereal packs. Laundry (washer, washing liquid, fabric softener, a dryer, iron and ironing board) - all brand new appliances. Bathroom (towels, soaps, shampoos, hairdryer and hair straightener) The 3 large rooms all have comfortable queen beds and a sofa bed is provided for additional visitors. The smaller room includes a single bed and a portacot if travelling with bub (a high chair is also available). The space is great for a family, but the price is great for a single person as well. For professionals or those who are working away from base, there is a dedicated work space, with desk and comfortable chair- plus free high speed wifi. A charging station is available for compatible apple and Samsung devices. You are welcome to use the locked garage to park your vehicle. The backyard is large and includes an outdoor dining setting. For your comfort there is a new ducted air conditioning system supplying all rooms along with a ceiling fan in the main bedrooms. For colder months, there is ducted heating throughout. The 3 main bedrooms each have built in robes. As a family friendly property, we are also pleased to supply kids books, art pads and a pencil case full of crayons and pencils, some kids DVDs, Netflix (along with a 55inch new 4K widescreen smart tv), kids toys (including some toys for bubs) and some board games. We permit pets in the yard, but not Inside the house. There is a ring doorbell at this property.

There is plenty of space to park two cars in the driveway and enough space on the grass median strip at the front of the house to park a vehicle and trailer. We area bespoke holiday management hosts. We give our guests total privacy but if guests need absolutly anything we are a message or call away. We are literally one minutes walk to beaches and 10 minutes walk back into town, which has cafe's, restaurants, shops, bars and a cinema. There is a small deli, butcher shop and two small supermarkets that have all the essentials. You'll find Coles on the way into town where you can stop and pick up all your groceries. We are very close to National Parks Bundjalung and Yuraygir and the mighty Clarence River. Great surf locations all around, river fishing, rock fishing and beach fishing, kayaking, bush walks, boat hire and scenic tours. We would recommend having a car to get around, there is public transport to major hubs, but to truly see all the sites and find those hidden gems, a car or 4WD is a must. There is a regular ferry service taking people between Yamba and Iluka that is a great way to spend a day. Whale season is between May - November.

You are staying walking distance to the town centre, pub, restaurants, beaches, whalers lookout and the blow hole. You will need to drive to many attractions that the East Coast has to offer if you would like to explore.

we love this because... Our first search when looking for a holiday house is "water view". So we love that it is positioned right on the ocean. In summer we simply walk across the road to the beautiful beach with shallow blue water and white, white sand. Its perfect for our kids to play safely all day long. In winter we take walks along the beach when the sea takes on a wilder appearance and Paddington our four-legged friend is allowed to walk and run. The house is a townhouse and was great for our family and we shared with another family. There is a small cottage (Shoreline Hideaway) at the rear of the property that is completely separate and you can book it with the house or it is available to other guests. So you need to leave the driveway clear but other than that everyone has their own private space. The foreshore on this part of the Mornington Peninsula has the best beaches and we walk in either direction and take in the spectacular views of Port Phillip Bay along the Bay Trail. Our favourite spots are the upstairs lounge where we snuggle up with a book and a glass of wine in front of the gas fire in winter and watch the weather change across the bay. In summer the balcony is the perfect spot to sit and watch the beachgoers. Everyone loves the outdoor heated spa. It does only seat 4 at a time so for larger groups...get in line. IMPORTANT TO NOTE - Property is suitable for maximum of 8 adults plus additional children. PAWfect What fun! a new house to visit that lets four-legged friends like me sleep inside. Yay! a safe little courtyard at the front and back of the house and I can smell the sea.
